'THE FLOWER SHOP'
Featuring a collection of oils inspired by a local flower shops interior. Small local business, female and family owned, Bluebells Henley, offered a colourful setting for my paintings. Highlighting Floristry as an art form, combining colours and playing with compositions. Florists working with their hands similar to an artist working with paint and paintbrush. A collection filled with colours found in the flowers and botanicals on display. The Still life reflecting the final Florists creation and the abstract botanical landscapes providing a close-up of the shops interior. 12 works in oil and watercolour, textured in delicate Japanese Awagami paper collage on paper and canvas.
